My love affair with Vietnam started 5 years ago when my best friend and I decided to explore new places to satiate our love for food and adventure. It was not a difficult choice to make as we've been to most South East Asian countries apart from Vietnam. We decided on Ho Chih Minh City as there were loads to do, see and eat.
Five years on, after visiting the South twice and North, once, I decided to travel to Central Vietnam as the photos of the beautiful yellow building lining the streets intrigued me. Noting that the food options differed in the North and South of Vietnam, I was very excited too, to see what the Central had to offer me. I was not disappointed.
With only five days to spare, my adventure started in Hoi An before I slowly made my way up to Danang and Hue. My verdict? I'm definitely going back to Hoi An with my best friend in tow this time.
